If you are looking for a new Yoga Class in Milton Keynes or a new challenge, I’m am teaching a new Saturday mornings Hatha Yoga Class in Milton Keynes at DW Sports Fitness Club.  Hatha Yoga really is the perfect start to any weekend and I look forward to welcoming you to my fun, relaxing and de-stressing yoga class for all levels this Saturday!

Hatha Yoga Class Milton Keynes start time:
Saturday – 12.00 to 1.00pm

What is Hatha Yoga?

Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing. The practice originated in India about 5,000 years ago, and has been adapted around the world in a variety of ways, though Hatha Yoga is the truer form and is the root of all the many styles available. Yoga is now found not just in health clubs & leisure centres but now also schools, hospitals and surgeries as Yoga’s health benefits and lifestyle improvements are starting to be accepted and understood.

Lily is an experienced certified yoga teacher, she teaches the traditional, relaxing and invigorating Yoga as practiced in Asia for thousands of years; it is a little more holistic in nature, meaning, it covers not just the physical aspects of yogic practice (like asanas or poses, mudras or locks), but also the breathing, meditation, mindfulness and restorative techniques sometimes lacking in the modern practice. Yoga is part of who she is, from practicing yoga in the parks of China as a child, to graduating from YogiYoga(China) Institute in 2007, Lily has loved helping and inspiring people ever since. You can help balance your mind and body to give a sense of wholeness and great happiness.
