STARTING TUESDAY 6th FEBRUARY 2023
Our 5-week course will introduce you to the foundations of yoga practice and concentrate on establishing a deeper awareness of your body through breath, movement and focus. You’ll gain a better understanding of how the postures open and strengthen your joints and muscles. You’ll also learn how to use your breath as a tool for managing your stress and energy levels as we build the practice week-by-week. We’ll introduce short meditation and relaxation techniques to cultivate a feeling of calm and help you sleep better. 

Whether you are a complete beginner, haven’t practised for a while or you want to focus on refining your practice, this is the perfect start to a lasting and truly beneficial practice; We look forward to welcoming you to our 5-week, fun, relaxing and de-stressing Yoga for Beginners course with David at Oxley Park Community Centre.

This gentle form of exercise can help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance, and could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life.

Why Yoga?

Who is it for?

It is aimed at complete beginners or those with a little experience who are looking to improve their understanding and build a strong foundation of Yoga. This course is not suitable during pregnancy but is a fantastic postnatal way to rebuild flexibility and muscle tone, as well as some precious ‘me’ time. As places are limited please book today to avoid disappointment.
