For the past 25 years, I have specialised in the Pilates method, a passion that led me to earn my Master Training Certification at Evolution Academy.
I teach Mat Pilates, Reformer, Classical, Contemporary, Therapeutic, and Prenatal Pilates, always aiming to connect the body and mind, improve flexibility, correct posture, and support rehabilitation processes for various conditions.
Throughout my career, I have worked at Evolution Pilates Studio (Venezuela) and Practike Pilates Studio (Spain). I am currently part of the team at Yogalily Studio, where I continue to share my passion for mindful movement.
I firmly believe that Pilates is an essential tool for daily life: by learning to control our breathing, we can later control our bodies and achieve greater well-being in all areas of life.
My greatest motivation is to help people feel good in their bodies and support them on their journey toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
Trained in both Fitness as well as Holistic practices, she has worked both in the Uk and internationally helping clients achieve their goal.
As a Pilates Instructor, Maxine possesses an in depth knowledge of skills and expertise that transcends traditional methods. Her specialisation in Classical Pilates is the foundation upon which she builds fitness success stories. Adding to this, her proficiency in addressing injuries and catering to specialists populations underscores her commitment to inclusivity and tailored fitness solutions.
Maxine’s instructional style is embedded in motivation and inspiration. Underpinned by progressive lesson planning and laser focus on goals and results. She prides herself on her unique teaching approach, which weaves a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, postural issues and the science of Pilates into each class.
Beyond simply just guiding clients through the exercises, she empowers them with knowledge, helping them comprehend how the classes enhance their bodies, identifies muscular movement and force adapts, form the technique for their own unique needs.
David’s approach is grounded in a belief that movement can be both healing and empowering. His classes blend active yet calming sequences with soft pauses and moments of stillness—offering balance for body, mind, and spirit. Over the years, he has developed his own signature Slow Flow Yoga style, combining mobility-enhancing movements, spine-strengthening practices, and joint support techniques beneficial for injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Recently achieving Senior Yoga Teacher status with Yoga Alliance Professionals, David continues to expand his practice and knowledge. His latest training in Reformer Yogalates has allowed him to integrate Pilates-inspired core work and dynamic alignment into his already rich repertoire. The result is a thoughtful and inclusive practice that supports a wide range of students, whether they are new to movement or deepening an existing one.
