Just yourself and a bottle of water. If you have your own mat you are very welcome to bring it with you but we also supply mats and the other equipment such as blocks and belts that we will use during the course.

Wear something stretching and comfortable for during practice and a warm top for the relaxation at the end of class. A blanket is a good way to keep warm too. We practice in bare feet so you don’t need to worry about footwear.

Please arrive in good time to stow away bags and shoes, also please switch off your mobile phone. Before attending Class try not to eat a heavy meal. I would recommend eating a light meal or snack an hour before.

Injuries and Modifications
  • Use common sense with regard to injuries. Use modifications that are provided for the difficult positions and exercises and ease off if you feel you are risking injury, do a particular exercise to suit your pace.
  • If you are taking prescription medication, or are under medical supervision you should check with your health care provider before starting a Yoga Class.
Pregnancy

This course is NOT suitable during pregnancy. If you are pregnant you should check with your health care provider before proceeding to attend a yoga class. It is advised to attend a prenatal yoga course where the course is geared towards a safe practice for a pregnancy. Do not start a yoga course if you are within your first 14 weeks of pregnancy or do not have an established regular weekly yoga practice.
