At Yogalily Studio in Milton Keynes, our Children’s Lyrical Dance Classes offer so much more than steps and routines. Guided by an English National Ballet–trained professional ballerina, your child will explore the beauty of movement, music, and storytelling in a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment.

Through carefully designed classes for juniors (ages 5–7) and seniors (ages 8–12), children grow in confidence, creativity, and expression while building lasting friendships and a love of dance.

What is Lyrical Dance?

Lyrical is a beautiful dance style, combining ballet and contemporary techniques performed to modern music. Dancers will learn short combinations of choreography with opportunities to learn how to portray stories through movement, all to beautiful music.

Each class includes:

  • A fun warm-up to energise and prepare the body
  • Choreographic exploration, where children learn expressive routines and elegant sequences
  • A calming cool-down and stretch, encouraging flexibility, focus, and wellbeing
