#YOGA : FEELING INSPIRED & GRATEFUL
Some days arriving on my mat is hard, Saturday I was really tired and not just physically. After a few minutes of self doubt and practice before class, I decided savasana was about all I wanted to do. A meek voice soon broke my stupor and a lady appeared who normally hides in the corner of class each week since starting February. She came into the studio early to say she just wanted to share that the classes had helped her so much each week with her back pain caused by spinal damage. It had become the day she most looked forward to. After years of pain, injections, treatments and pain killers, it was the yoga that gave her back the most relief and respite allowing her to feel like herself again. It’s in these moments that yoga makes sense to me. I feel blessed by these wonderful men and women, that come every week, despite their personal battles, that remind me why I started teaching yoga. Fatigue lifted instantly and I’m feeling grateful and inspired again; if I can make a difference to one person it makes everything worthwhile.

Beginners to Improvers Yoga Next Steps Yoga Classes at South Furzton Meeting Place, Milton Keynes

Our Beginners to Improvers Yoga Classes, are specially designed to develop your practice, progressing on from the Small Group Yoga for Beginners Course or at classes you’ve tried elsewhere. It is suitable for those who are familiar with the foundational yoga postures and yogic breath control/awareness (pranayama), and those who have a little yoga experience, looking to improve their understanding and build a strong foundation of Yoga.

These classes are an ideal ‘next step’ furthering your knowledge & understanding of yoga, we aim to help you create a solid & safe foundation so you feel confident, comfortable and inspired to attend any of the regular Open Level classes & themed workshops.

Class cost:

  • Drop in – £10
  • 5-class Pass – £45
    (to be used in 6 weeks)
  • 10-class Pass – £85
    (to be used in 12 weeks)

Class Details

  • Mondays: 6pm – 7:15pm (with Lily)
  • Wednesdays: 6:15pm – 7:15pm (with David)
  • Location: South Furzton Meeting Place

Our regular weekly beginners and improvers classes; will progress your practice from a Beginners Yoga Course, and teach you to a fuller and deeper yoga practice, weaving held poses with slow flows learning more about yoga breath control and meditation to help you to a happier, healthier lifestyle.

Increasing fitness, concentration and reducing stress

The classes build steadily each week to work on improving your understanding of the practice by focusing on healthy alignment and establishing a deeper awareness of your breathing, increasing your knowledge and experience of different yoga techniques, and deepening awareness of your body so you can become more confident in how you are working in the regular classes. The beginners to improvers yoga class builds on developing stamina, increasing tone, strength & flexibility, improving focus and concentration, and helping you to cultivate calmness and reducing stress.
